It was our Wedding Anniversary – I like to make some kind of art as a present, so I made this on paper with ink pens. I really like it – speaks to my sense of humour!

Here’s my latest experiment. I wasn’t pleased with it until I put it down and looked at it from afar, then I thought it might be ok.
And sometimes it’s the fact that you’ve actually put pens / brushes on paper to create something, and the very act of doing that makes you happy!

Here’s an owl I finished in the last parents’ art group just before Christmas. You’re welcome.

I eventually finished my latest arcylic on canvas paper painting. It’s amazing how long something takes when you only work on it 2 hours every other week for a couple of months.

Just painted this, for my sister-cousin’s birthday, who I hope doesn’t read it before she gets this through the post… of course I’m late with it, with best intentions, but at least I sought out an inspiration photo and painted this entirely with her in mind. I hope she likes it, I definitely do!

Yes it’s a sunset painting in the Autumn when the birds, in this case geese, fly South, and I know it’s June BUT – nope, don’t really have an explanation. This was inspired by a photo from a friend of mine taken in Sweden.
Sometimes painting a scene from Sweden is a little heart moment for me.
Title: “Across the Autumn Sky”. First time I’ve taken two titles from the same song, but the paintings are related and both were inspired by photos taken by the same person.

Latest work just finished: acrylic on canvas.

Inspired by misty photographs, trying out different things to get the different effects… two latest paintings. My theme of song lyrics is more obvious in the one I finished today. If you recognise the song, let me know!

It’s been a while. I’ve just updated the Art tab with the artwork I made in 2018. It was fun to get into using pastels, my usual preferred method is painting acrylic on canvas but it’s good to try new things.
