Creating Theatre & Making Films

Susanne has always been keen to learn and do all aspects of creating theatre and making films. As a trained actor and award winning writer she has a keen interest in learning about whatever sphere she’s working in from the professionals she works with. As a result she has become an award winning director, multi award winning producer and multi award winning lighting designer. She also uses her business skills: particularly in PR, publicity and social media, to craft multi award winning publicity campaigns.

She was awarded a highly commended Outstanding Contribution to the Arts in 2021 by Brighton and Hove Arts Council.

Lighting Design

Lighting at the beginning of the play, design to imitate the sunlight come from the same direction as the projection, to indicate the characters are sunning themselves on the deck.

The interval lighting was designed to represent passage of time: the light through the windows changed colour from light to dark and then back again to daylight over the course of the 20 minute interval.
